Corporate Volunteerism

    • “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot. Nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”
      – Dr Seuss –

That, in a nutshell, sums up Thinktank’s belief in giving back to society. Since our inception, the Thinktank team has been working with partners to serve the less fortunate, whether it’s through sharing our expertise or mobilizing our children to care for others. Through such efforts, we hope to make things a little better for others.

  • 2013 – We kickstarted our ‘pay-it-forward ‘ series in 2013. Conducting English language classes over a 4-day period, we were both enriched and privileged to coach 15 university students from Thailand in a cross-cultural, English-as-a-second-language programme. Lessons were based on group work presentation and emphasised individual oral communication and presentation skills.

  • 2014 – Continuing with the tradition, Thinktank teachers helmed a 4-day holiday programme with a community before-and-afterschool care centre. Children from “Heartfriends”, located in the Dover heartlands neighbourhood, were the recipients of the year-end holiday language programme. Incorporating art and craft activities, Thinktank teachers guided the children to create stage settings and a narrative plot based on the childrens’ classic, “The Three Little Pigs”. The language camp ended with a performance by the children, attended by their families and friends.

  • 2016 – Besides fun-filled activities to celebrate Children’s Day, Thinktank students showed that they care by donating a truckload full of pre-loved books and toys to Toys from the Heart to bless other children in need.
